Last week I sold an outstanding PM, outstanding defender, passable passer for a titanic PM, outstanding defender, formidable passer.

I used to position the old player as offensive central defender (OCD). However this new player is by far my strongest PM. That being said, I haven't got another PM (WC or magni) with more than weak as defending.

What to do know, until I have a decent offensive defender?

Play the new guy or a weak defending PM as OCD???

It strongly depends on where you think you need your strength. If you do not need much defense youd could paly him in the midfield if you do need defense, I would play him as OCD. He also has some contirbution to your attack.

I could very well be promoting to the Vth league with 42 out of 14.
Another team of my league tells me that this would be stupid, because I would then end up in a very strong Vth league. As a strong VIth league winner I would promote to a strong Vth league. Is that true???

IIRC the highest ranked promoting team changes side with the highest ranked demoting team.

That means, you'd swithc sides with a team that got close to qualifiers. But whether yous witch sides with a weak team that got close to the qualifiers in a weak league or with a striong team that got close to the qualifiers in a strong league is not said.

It's just luck, but you might also get into a strong league when swithcing sides with a bot.

If you promote with 42 points, then you can be sure to be placed as team 7 into the scheme, which means you start with a home game (which might be a good start, but is personal preference)

So, I'd say go for 42 points!

I support socra's opinion. Winning never hurt anyone. Specially now your sup mood is mo longer reset compoletely winning is better. If I was you I would also not worry too much about the strength of V. My league avergaes around 235 hatstats and is somewhere around the halfway poin in strength of all V's. So that will not be a porblem for you.

Agreed. It doesn't mean a thing. If you loose every match that could mean you are a moron or that simply that your opponents are too strong.

Just an added incentive, you get 10% extra fans on promoting so the more wins you gain and therfore fans prior to this will mean a larger increase in fans and therefore moolah
