Default Cup Round 4

One String Banjos - Wartham United 2 - 4

Its a bit odd playing away matches in the fourth round. Hopefully I will be at home for the fifth round as I will probably be playing a very good V side either way. Won possession in both halves on a PIC although I did play a WTM so I lost a training slot for the week.

Anyone else in the cup?

I'm still in!

3-1 win at home. My first home game (and therefore against a better team finally). I beat better opposition when I didn't set my team and got an accidental Excellent midfield and overcame his Counter Attacks.

Playing Div 4 opposition next.

I think I might have a decent change to reach round 5, if my HO ratings are anywhere near the truth:

Yes.

English_brit (The Blue Boys FC) paid me a visit this afternoon, and beat me 2-1. Not too bad for me, as his team was way stronger than mine. But his midfield was just stronger than mine, which was the only comparable area. Using 3-5-2, I guess he's training IMs. No injury, but not as much money as I would have expected, but oh well...

Won 3-5, so through to round 5 for the first time in my HT career!

However, very dark tidings regarding my best player, as he picked up a +5 injury during the match.
