Default Season 33, round 5

No reports about round 5 yet?

I PiC-ed a home match vs a Bot and won 9-1. Leading with 3 points. Now I have to play 4 games vs slightly weaker teams. My rival for the title lost points vs one of them.

Ah well, I am so excited about my cup game that I forgot to post it here.

I was playing defensively (CA) and PIC.

Seems like my opponent expected me to take the mdifield( which I surely would have done if I would not be in the cup) and played 4-5-1.

With one CA goal and one normal goal I won 2-1 which was kind of important to not be on a demotion place.

I got mugged. I was almost expecting a match like this. There have been sooo many where I didn't win the midfield and won the game by 2+ goals and this time I was on the other end of that beating stick.

I won midfield by ~ 60% overall and again had dominating wing attacks and used AOW (passable I think). I only had one chance and it was stopped by his GK. lost 0-3 in front of a sellout home crowd. That was the first time since the ticket prices increased. I got an extra ~$30k out of the sellout crowd compared to before the ticket price hike.

I won my game 4-3!!!!

from what i can tell it was a fairly close encounter with me winning the midfield one half and him the other.

0-0 draw. Happy to get a point.

An odd season for me so far. Third draw in five games.

I won...against last years first place team who either has had a very bad run of bad luck, or is retooling his team. I am in 3rd and still have a shot at 2nd.

Won 0-5 getting 149 hatstats. just completing the victory lap for now as I don't play anyone serious for another 6 weeks and basically can't be knocked out of 1st.

I lost my ass against the 1st place team, so now I have moved to 3rd.. Also both my forwards in my 4-4-2 set up were both injured and are out for 4 weeks, ugh.. Not happy about that.. I don't even think I got a shot off in the game..

This week I play the 2nd place team, so should be interesting, good news is that I have had the highest attendance at home since I took over...

I won a very close away match and unexpectedly jumped to 4th place. Alas, this does seem to be a very temporary gain. Still, every point gets me closer to a no-relegation spot.
