Rise of Mankind
So I picked up a copy of civ 4 complete (Vanilla & expansions), since I have too much time on my hands these days. Stumbled upon a thread at civfanatics where someone vouched for the Rise of Mankind mod, and installed the thing. Now I'm playing it, but hey, why is it so damn slow at the start?? City growth and production take ages, like 40-50 turns for the first improvements. Settlers are 350+ shields!! takes 2 millennia at least to found a 2nd city.
Do I have a wrong setup or is this by design or what? PS: how do I turn on the revolutions setting? |

I'm not sure if this will work, but I think the correct answer is to uninstall that mod and install the Dune Mod or the Fall from Heaven 2 mod

You should probably just play Rhye's mod (if that's not the same one).
Difference in prices can probably be changed by game speeds and by the sounds of things you're playing on marathon.
