Mmmmh yes but I thought that "I've been stolen something" meant "Someone stole something to me". At least that's what I learnt at school, and I was told the passive form is good to use in English. But you're welcome to correct me. Just give me the right clues.
Apart from that, I'm looking forward to this 3-day weekend. Still at work, grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !

"I've been stolen something" and "Someone stole something to me"
are both in correct use of grammar. "I've been stolen something" - makes no sense at all "Someone stole something to me" would make sense if you replace "to" with a "from" but it is also better to assume innocent until proven guilty...which in this case would mean, it would be better to assume the CD is missing then falsely accuse somebody of stealing it..because if they did'nt then you have upset them and the are more motivated to actually steal from you in the future just to spite you |

Here are a few pics of last Monday night. I went with bro and a friend to La Défense, next to my suburbs house, to experiment my friend's camera at night.
Dunno why the 1st pic won't load here (even at 50% size), but I uploaded it on my webspace, so I give you the link. I look like a ghost... Question : how did we do it ? The pic wasn't edited at all. http://kryszcztov.free.fr/krys_le_fantome.JPG Here is the Eiffel Tower ! The blue light comes from the lighthouse at the top of it, that rotates as the camera records the photons (long exposition). 91.88KB Here is the Arc de Triomphe ! The suburbs city inbetween it and us is called Neuilly-sur-Seine ; it is the richest city in France, I believe, and its mayor has been Mr Sarkozy since 1983 (current leader of the UMP party - the one ruling the country). In the middle of the pic, we can see the métro coming towards us (the pair of yellow lines). On the right, we can see that a car gently lighted on its lights for track change (or whatever you call them) : that's the dotted orange line along the red ones. 130.64KB Hope you like the pics.

For the ghost, was it a film camera? I've seen this happen a few times with one. The camera fails to advance and a second picture is taken over the first one.
Nice effect.

Thanks guys, I'll tell my friend because he was the one who took the pics (I had the ideas though ). For the 'ghost' pic, as I said, it wasn't edited, so that is what we got in the camera. We didn't use a film option, I don't even know if there was one. What we did was simple : all these pics were taken with a long exposition (from 5 to 15 seconds, as can be seen in the pics' properties). In this one, I stayed in that position in front of the camera for about 2/3 of the time, and then quickly withdrew from the place for the rest of the time. So we end up with me AND the background together, making myself like a ghost. It was weird to stay still and suddenly rush away for so many pics.
