Civ V MP
Hi CDZ,
So I actually started playing Civ V, and am having fun as well. I even managed to convince Propain to pick it up as well and we have been playing MP too! Are there more CDZ playing MP? Cheers, Kingreno

Or is that only for online MP? If LAN MP works ok, we could, I guess, set up a meeting!

I know a couple real life people who play on a weekly basis. I think they use direct IP connection. They save the game after each session.
I will not commit to this one. (unless you guys are willing to play at 3am to 6am.)

3 am to 6am.... normally that's the only time I;m certain my kids will sleep so I have to pass on that one.
Firaxis should fix the goddamn MP

I've only played the Civ V trial version once.
But I like veterans coming back together. Think I'll try it again soon.

I played a few hours of MP with KR and it wasnt bad at all, I feel that it's more balanced than SP, especially when you turn of the CS.
Map making would still be nice though (is this even possible?), the game we have in progress now I ended up with 4 AI on my island and KR only has 2. This seems unbalanced. Although techtrading isnt possible which was the primary AI abuse mechanism in CIV III

The start is sort of balanced most of the time, so you won't get the civ 3 "double cow extravaganza" versus the "1 tobacco no river".
