Sure, Banzai.
Col. Tarleton asked me if he could join as well. But that should be the last one then.

4000 BC (turn 1)

Tile working
Our first priority will be growing and expanding. We can get +5 food by irrigating the wheated flood plain
We still run a risk of disease but we'll have to take that chance.
In the beginning we'll lack shields however, so mining the BG must be done as quickly as possible

Tech path
We're industrious and militaristic and start with masonry and warrior code. Seems we have two options
1) go for the wheel and hoorseback writing
Normally I wouldn't go for this option but the restriction of eliminating only 1 opponent per era we'll need horses or swords soon
Being chinese I prefer horses because we have riders as UU

2) Go for alphabet which gives us 2 branches to choose from, math (we alrdy have masonry) and currency
or writing and lit. Last one is almost a sure fire way to get a heap of ancient age tech as the AI
tends to ignore literature.

I decide to go alpha as it keeps open the most option. At 100% it will take us 43 turns.

minimap
We're sitting south of the equator which means, good terrain with jungle risks.
Also we're located on the eastern side of map. Usually land mass doesnt extend over the east-west wrap border (if you get what I mean)
so our scouting efforts should be west ward.

3950 BC (turn 2)
Start irrigating the flood plain.

3900 bc (turn 3)
Press Enter

3850 BC (turn 4)
Press Enter

3800 BC (turn 5)
Our irrigation is finished, it leaves 3 food to grow to 2 pop. So we can't change to grass this turn other wise we'll take another turn to grow
We have the option to road first or move and mine grass. As roading takes 2 turns only, I road first.

3750 BC (turn 6)
We grow to pop 2. This means we need to adjust the lux slider. We need 20% lux, which means we need 38 instead of 31 turns for alpha
Now we have to decide what to built next, and it's either warrior or settler. Warrior to MP or settler to expand
We'll make 2 shields for 3 turns = 6 turns, Then we'll make 4 shields for 1 turn (grass mined) totals to 10.
Next we'll make 5 shields for 4 turns (as we grow to 3) and finish the settler. just as we'll grow to 4, so we'll drop to 2 instead of 1!

We could make a warrior first (10 shields,4 turns but that would mean we'd finish the settler mid growth from 4-5 and drop back to 2 losing food
So we'll start with a settler.

3700bc (turn 7)
First warrior build. I move the warrior west over the finished road. MOve worker to BG

3650 BC (turn 8)
MOve warrior op Mountain, start mining BG

The terrain could have been better, no more luxes. For now I think the arrows spot is the best but maybe inside the yellow
circle land is better. Straight north looks to jungled, south to much dessert. I'll move to mountain NN to see a bit of the
yellow circle land

3600 bc (turn 9)
MOve warrior north

Additional commerce makes the people happy. Is it possible to lower the lux tax now the road on the floadplain is finished?

Absolutely right Banzai! good point, set it back to 10%. I should be ok according to the citizens mood but I have seen some instances were I got civil unrest after all.

3550 bc (turn 10)
moved on to the mountain and saw this.

Well, of course I didnt see the red dots, I added those later. I think the terrain is rather disappointing and the hut is kinda close to pop right now.

So I closed the turn and went to sleep as it was 2 am almost. Looked at it today, added red dots. I think we should settle those from left to right, or left right middle, depending on terrain we see on the right. I propose we sent our warrior north-west towards the cow, settle left spot, build warrior and explore red dot with it and 2nd settler. But that's just my proposal so please express your opinions on this.

Interesting starting position. We should be able to make something out of this Nothing else to say really, since you only played 10 turns.
