Default Merge civ subfora?

I have the idea that the civ3 and civ4 mapmaking, SG and opponent finding fora could be merged to a single forum each. The civ3 fora have very little traffic anyway. The succession game fora will move to the SGOTM forum, which is... obsolete (at the moment, anyway).

So, merge these subfora, or just merge all civ fora?

Hmm... except I don't think you're a bastard.

Two different games, will add to need to be more precise (is this Civ3 or Civ4 ?), why bother merging ?

mergers create confusion!

I can't even keep track who my wife works for - do you really think I could keep CIV 3 and CIV PBEM opponent-searching threads apart?

I would prefer a merge. The current situation is more confusing for me. Especially Civ3, where there is so little activity, could do with a lower number of subforums.

You can't imagine how amusing this thread proved to be. I actually laughed out loud. That, and I used multiquote for the first time. Anyway, I'm all for some restructuring, and I haven't really heard good reasons against it.

Multiquoting is nice, I used it a lot on that other site, when there were loads of shit to which to reply.

At the moment it's a 70%-30% result in favour of merging. That's about the shares between IE and Firefox in Europe. Are you still using IE ?

Funny You could also look at it this way: you are CONSERVATIVE

Nah, I understand it can create confusion; but there is very little traffic in these civ3 subfora, and there's not a reason to keep the old threads seperated. I'm not about to merge the strategy forums, where you'd want to read old threads.
