There's no N/A account on the new forum, and the spam in the spambot trashcan is all posted by a guest account. This should account for at least a large number of the missing accounts. ATM I'm actually working, so I can't be bothered to count

One thing I found:

-font tags in signatures are imported as < > instead of [ ]
-there seems to be a problem with ', as in don't, which is shown as don\'t

Now, both errors are in signatures, so I wouldn't bother with. The last error doesn't show up in normal text. I haven't found an instance of the first error yet.

I am checking some threads, currently Site Stuff - OT.

EDIT: looks good!

there are some screwups, e.g. " and so on are coded differently, thus do not display correctly, but there are no post losses, no weird formating problems, and readability is fine!

I can't retreive my password. When I try to register it says both my nickname and e-mail address are already taken, but when I do the "forgot password" thing I don't receive an e-mail from the site.

Edit: Never mind, I got the e-mails now.

All passwords need to be reset, has to do with the fact that they're put thru a coding mechanism before they are stored in the database.
Something I just thought of: this means that everyone with an outdated email adress is fucked. We might want to set up a form based on the old database where people can log in with their old account and leave a request to have their email adress/pw reset.

You're right: 38 here, 34 there. Can't really spot the missing threads though.

Nitpicking here, but it is pretty convenient that all the personal forums were in alphabetical order on this site, but they're not alphabetized in the vB version...

PM's: The 'from' and 'to' addresses are switched, including signature. A PM I received shows my name on the left and my signature. PM's I sent show the receivers name and picture on the left with his signature.

Non-converted smilies are gone completely. That'll make it hard to re-insert them.

well, I hope we still have the animated GIFs for them It is just a matter of setting the codes for them up again!

PP, can I log in as admin with my account? If so I will attempt to look at setting up custom rules for smilies etc!
