What is your play rate of Civ4?

games played/over numbers of days since you bought the game

playing less than 50 turns does not count
if you did'nt finish a game but played over 50 turns = 1/2 a game

I have played two 1/2 games and am in my 3rd which is unfinished so that is 1.5 games played since 4th November

1.5 in 19 days = game rate of [gets out calculator] 0.08 games per day

I've finished two games, one on small and one on normal size with normal speed. I've one unfinished game (plains start with floodplains) that I played until two different AIs invaded me with chariots, and I'm currently playing a continents game with me on a small island

So how much is that per day? I am pretty close to being married

looks like two full games = 2
+ 2 half games = 1

3/ divided by numbers of days since you bought the game.

you might be right shabba, 0.2 games per day is a game per 5 days, a lot of hours spent playing civ even at that rate, even without a girlfriend to slow you down

IIRC my last game took 16 hours of my life. Both of my games were spaceship victories, and I definately want to finish games a lot earlier. If/when that ever happens, games will take less than 16 hours, I presume.

The last weeks were busy for me, but if I can squeeze an hour of civ in a full day then I'm happy. Other RL issues have priority over gaming though, especially athletics. Oh, and work.

Voted the first option. And yes I am married, and no Civ4 wont run on my sons laptop which is causing untold grief at home.

My son (he's 7 now) was the person who reminded me on the Friday morning Civ4 came out, to buy the game

He totally kicks cheiftains ass on Civ3 with his mad worker explorers and Knight Zerg rush...

And they used to rush you with like a million troops.

I've played ~ 3.25 games and 29 days since I received it comes out to a little over 0.11. My first game was at settler just to see what was going on. I've been playing quick on SP games, but I'll prolly switch to normal speed. I am married but while she is watching Prison Break and Amazing Race I'm in there playing civ4.

btw, I have a settler domination victory & a Noble space victory. I have Prince game that I was dominating until I stupidly decided to declare on Nappy head. I'm still working on that one though. I've played a couple of games past 50 turns but had to deal with the black terrain until I got back home.
