The team game of PP & Kemal vs Sky and me is great - have you considered that approach?

i'd like to be in a 2vs2 like anarres suggests. I am already in a 1vs1vs1vs1vs1vs1 and one is more than enough...

We once started a 4x2 game which had a lot of potential where each player has 2 civs (playing consecutively to speed things up) Normal rules apply. Essntially playing with yourself (ooh er)as ally.

I'd fancy a game like that. You can choose complementary civs....

So: 4 humans, each controlling 2 civs? each civ couple perma MPP-ed?And no pre-fixed allies between the humans?

Seems fair to me. Any rules on leader fishing? Is perma peace an option?

I really like the option. I am looking forward to a no AI game.

Perma peace between your 2 civs so no cheap leader fishing. Just agree never to declare war on your other civ. Its pretty easy to spot!! Trading as normal when you meet yourself - essentially you'll give techs to your other civ so you need to research along different paths. You can also gift money / cities to your other civ.

Anything goes on MA/MPP between players since no AIs.

Adds a whole new dimension I think.

Monarch? No AIs so its just a question of how many happy people. I think lower levels tend to balance out lack of lux more.
