Overpriced version of Civ5 coming up
No, I'm not talking about the regular edition or the pre-order special edition, but this:

I like the book, but the rest doesnt really interest me. $50 for just the book seems a bit steep to me.

I've heard it contains the first patch. We'll have to type and compile it ourselves, it was the only way to get the patch done before the holiday season.
