random is fine.

You might want to hold off till Tubby returns..I think he is gone till Monday.

Some of these caused some discussion at CFC.......no talking before you meeet,no tech talk before alphabet, no maps before paper but verbal directions OK.....

ok well i wont get igloo to assign you all passwords, you can do that when you first log in. as i dont think we need to worry about cheating

Balanced map ok with everyone? I would say pangea but i think you can all go look at the shocking start i had for that in the civIVor game if you want to justify not having it.

Depending on number of people i'd say at least standard size. 8-12=large map 12+huge?

some of our computers might die n a huge map. Lets just go with large so what if its cramped makes the first part scarey and fun.

I willplay anyway..just put low res graphics and all teh other tricks to get it to run in teh late games.

Can the computer can play your turn if you are not there?

I would like to join, but since I'll be away from July 8 to July 16. At the early stage of the game, it may not mather that mutch.

You could plan ahead and have a build queue in your city, and have your units on a planned movement route.

Or you could ask someone else to play a couple of turns for you, while you are gone.

I'm sure Tubby will be interested and possibly Furiey as well. I'll pm her to see.

For people who can't commit full time maybe we should also have some part timers that can slot in for them.
