Thanks for the posts. Hmm, got alot of thinking to do now. You used Unprecitables with high passing Shabba? How often do they create chances out of nothing? I quite like Quick strikers atm as they tend to create a fair few chances with their speed, plus are a bit cheaper.

I could do with a good set piece taker aswell. My current ones only solid with bad shooting.

The highest passing skill for my unpredictables is passable, which most likely isn't high enough for such an event. This one comes straight out of the platypus guide,
Quick is nice, but it's weather dependable therefore I don't like it. But I'm biased towards headers atm

Yeah. I would like more Heads in my team if I had a decent set piece taker. I used to have an excellent sp taker but had to sell him. He scored loads.

Personally I find the weather event hardly ever happens and the amount of chances they create with their speed easily overcompensates for it. Just my opinion though.

The chance of a player to get a special event is not very high - about 5% (+-2% ). IMHO it's not worth the extra money when differences between teams in the league are significant. But when teams are very close and matches are being won/drawn/lost at a one goal difference, the Speciality of the player and that 5% chance he'll score are worth it.

In my case, it will be needed when/if I promote to Romania's 4th division when things will really start to be tough for me.

Good points. My league is a very close one atm. Although I'm hoping to launch a serious title challenge with my new pull to bring in some money.

Of course I can't compare him with the 17 year olds you guys pulled, but I'm quite happy with mine nevertheless, the first solid skill I've ever pulled.

Nice pulls. Should give you both a bit of money to play with.
