From what i read no one got a brilliant start, we all seem to have some issues. I would say play on, overcoming a less the ideal start is part of the challenge.

Also as Barbu said, how do you judge how good a start is, it is a subjective thing. One way would be for all of us to post our starting positions but would we all agree to that? Even then we we need a good 20-30 turns exploring to really work out what we have to work with for the begining of the game.

yeah play on... a bad start usually means a prime city nearby... law of averages.

OK I had a second look and I have a very nice start, but that does not mean I'm going to have horses, Iron or Cooper!

Killercane and I have got exactly the same colour. Besides that, there are a lot of subtle variations of red and orange in here which will make it hard to separate each other on the map.

Apart from that, why are there two mauers in the game.
