And I thought I was being honorable by not taking a city with a DM earlier.

Look like I was foolish. Now I'm pissed.

If you are talking about me:

My DM consisted only of shifting units in the first turn. All attacks (and even the road building) were done in the second turn. So if you had kept the order we had in the last days (I was playing first in the turns before), the result would still have been the same.

BTW, we don't have a no DM agreement (but we can make one).

Another BTW, I am away over the easter-weekend. Are you all playing? Otherwise, should we stop the game at least from thursday evening / Friday morning to Tuesday afternoon?

Another edit: That I started my first turn a few minutes before turn change was just a coincidence because I wasn't home earlier. Intended to play earlier.

Yeah that why I'm pissed.
I'm pissed at the game clock for not ending 2 hours later( or earlier, even if the workers roaded the tile on the second turn they were probably moved on the first turn), I'm pissed at thinking to destoy that road after my stack had moved, I'm pissed of acting honourable and not using a DM whne I had the chance, I'm pissed of being completely out of the game.

The funny thing is:

I haven't even thought about attacking your stack until the 2nd turn began (I mean, I just managed to move a few units and then pressed enter when the clock said 0:00:05...

Seems I made a lucky move with the workers moving to where the road should have been built (but anyway, I could have managed that in the 2nd turn alone, as the workers could have been put inside the town on first turn and still building the road in time, so you wouldn't have got the chance to destroy that road. I had 4 workers ready to do that, so even two tiles of roading could have been done.)

The 4 units that I have moved closer in turn 1 have probably not made any difference.

So, I don't feel guilty about this as there was not a real advantage.

But yeah, the turn timer ending 2 hours earlier would have been a problem for me, but I was very lucky there...

I do have a connection, but it is awfully slow..., so I terminate it

Try again:
I get a message that the host has rejected my attempt...

Try again
Then I get a firewall failure.

Try again
A proper time out!

mine got connection but couldn't get to the password screen as it was stumbling over your connection. Guess the game just needs to be reset.
