Taking CFC break due to AoA

I am taking a one week break from CFC. Resaon: I told TF last time if the opinion banning by AoA wouldn't stop I'd be gone. Now, AoA is slowily picking it up agagin. I PMed TF about it and will now see what his answer will be. If he backs AoA I'm gone.

Well, I simply do NOT want in any way to support a site whose wner supports dictatorial censorship. AoA acts like a Nazi - not with me!

Like Anarres I'm sad to hear it but I understand your action very well. You know how I feel about OT management: it leaves much to be desired and that's why I avoid it.

I hope to see your forum here thrive, but I am disheartened that you would just back down from your positions in OT. One thing that came out of the last round is that AoA no longer engages in arguments. The posters who would disagree with him that have stuck around have learned the forum rules and follow them to the letter to avoid banning- which leaves it to the 'fascist' element like sharp to screw up and get in trouble. Now there are still incidents, like Sween's ban for a not-harmful thread, that are unsavoury, but on the whole the forum is a reasonable place. I hold out hope too that some day I'll be an OT moderator. It could happen...[

I read a lot in OT and post occasionally. I've never run into trouble with AoA mainly because I can phrase things in such a way that he cant take offence. Choice of words is critical.

Hello. Just signing in. Lt. M, are you still planning on making a FAQ section on CDG? We'd love to have you there.

sween: the FAQ on CDG is largely complete, the PTW one needs work. Once I find time I'll do it.....

GreyFox: it is NOT one guy, it is the fact that the site owner seems to support nazism
