Comp problem.
I'm still experiencing trouble when I connect to the net using dial up. Dunno why (no troubles when I use the office LAN) but i suspect the Blaster worm is fucking up my 135 port and causing infamous svchost.exe to crash. Strangely scanners don't find infections. All very frustrating, running full scale scan today hoping something will turn up.
This means I won't be able to play tonight and possibly this will persist untill I find time to reinstall my system (hopefully tomorrow)

i checked my firewall log...other ip addresses are attempting access via port 135 every 30 seconds or so....You'd think the ISP would block this sort of stuff if it is so prevalent and obviosly the blaster virus

I had that happen to me a while back with my old mobo.
Didn't have any service deals so i had to buy new stuff. I ended up buying a new mobo with a 2600XP. Quite fast and also quite cheap |
