Yeah - I saw Meli in there too.
I've played a AWE on a Pan - which doesnt look like being too much help. Looks like we're on a pelo map where contacts will be easier to manage.

My games are nearly always oscillating war verging on always war. Until we know our opponents we can't do too much, but if we are alone we can go farmer for a while, and if we have just 1 on our island we can almost go farmer (defensive war while expending).

Too much depends on the layout of the map to start guessing now what will be "the great tactic". If there is a civ on our island a group of spears backed by some archers can easily maintain against one AI.
