Feature request: Active topics

I know this from some other forums, so maybe it is easy to get:

I use "New Posts" as entry to the forums. But sometimes I see a post, but a day later I decide to answer but meanwhile the post has gone from the list of "New Posts".

So, it would be nice if there was an additional link "Active Topics" which show the 15 or 20 topics with most recent activity (not the same but kind of like the "Get posts of last 24 hours" if there were no new posts)

Please do not put much work in it, as the Quick Links-> Today's posts does the trick most of the time.
