OK.
My bet: your top sprinter has high echelon.

Like I said before:
- all rounders are favoured over specialist by the current engine. - we're working on this but it's complex and I'm not giving an estimate on 'fixed date' Untill that we're not changing the online engine as it can only lead to unexpected site crashes. I can imagine this takes the fun out of playing for you guys but nothing much more we can do. I'll be posting when things are fixed.

My team is full of allrounders. The only thing my late escape riders lack is sprinting. It's the same tactic I used to dominate the first half of last season, and the two seasons before that. It looks as if it doesn't work at all, as if the team doesn't have orders. I really don't care about winning, but this difference between seasons is inconsistent.
What pisses me off most is that Aggie gets three riders in an escape group when he sets his team orders to final sprint.

I had set up things like this:
- go for final sprint (edit: I ordered late escape...) - control the race from the first km - make the best echelon riders the captains (thanks to Shabba) - choose a low level rider as leader I guess my riders jumped with every chase group from the start and finally a few of them got away and ended in front. I have the biggest issues with the fact that my all-round and also 10 wheel sprinter makes nothing in the race. I will show patience until the start of next season but will not continue if things stay the way they are now. |

Last week we changed the engine to get better results, we're now testing this. Should the change work we can move on the behavioural scripts, should the change not work we have a plan B but that will be more time intensive. Most problems appear to be caused by the engine not using the rider traits as we intended. This in turn makes the behavioural scripts unpredicatable. Once the trait handling is solved we're a big step ahead. Believe me, I'm as frustrated as you guys maybe even more. PP

Bizarre. Previous race I finally got some decent points. Makes some sense, as it was a mountain stage (that didn't finish in a mass sprint with everyone 1 second behind each other: nooo, there was a gap of 8 seconds between the first 40 or so and the rest of the field ) and I got decent climbers. So I fielded the same riders, and ended up with 0 points. Well, at least now I know for sure that I will relegate.
Nice one.

I figured out a good strat for this season, and am curently getting very good results with it every race. But it seems we're only 3 players to be really involved in the game, and I'm having a hard time chasing the leader (I'm a solid 2nd).
