The CDZ grouphug pitboss (vanilla Civ4) was decided via Diplo win. So it is not the first one...
If I find the time in the next few days, I'll wrap up my spoiler. mauer, the map was very nice. I'd like to have the Worldbuilder save for a Single Player game. I guess, there I'd do better but I didn't get enough hammers out of my lands to perform even better.

There was nobody to liberate to. The only way for Stapel to avoid it was not capturing Baghdad, staying in Theocracy and letting Arabs live with one or two cities. Even if he would have spread Confu almost everywhere, which is unreasonable to assume because he had to build other improvements besides monasteries, it was required to switch to Confu state religion to overcome the vote. And even then this won't be enough probably but need to check it out in the final game. Also, trading resources with me (not sure about ynnek) was a big mistake as well since it allowed Korea to get to number 1 in population (by small margin but still) at the end of the game.

My mistake, I was thinking about colonies but that can only be done with cities on another continent ofc.

Anyway, congratulations to Beam on engineering this win, and I'll definitely be there for the next pitboss

I hope Robi still has it. I sent it to him when he got whacked. Unfortunately I lost it when my hard drive went out again. I'd also like to have it. |

I might still have the WBS but it will be some serious digging. The co-winner won't complain about the map of course. As Mapmaking Mod however I can only say mauer did an excellent job!
