Yes. Wing spots get half PM training and full short passes training also in YA. Put him in there if you don't have better candidates.

Yeah at this stage it is really difficult to tell who is good and who is not.. I am just hopeful that I get more info on my one really good player tomorrow morning with my youth update.

Does winning and losing make a difference in training in the Youth squad?

I'm sure you guys know about this already but I have just found Hattrick youthclub www.hattrick-youthclub.org. Seems like you can track and estimate your youth club after some fairly indepth uploading of info. The most interesting thing I found on it was the ability to find a twin of a current player.. they say it is very accurate.

I found this out about one of my players:

Seems like Vernon Schmidt will max out at weak on winger and poor on scoring if I train him there.. unfortunately Nicholas Rider (my main guy) does not have a "twin"

Yes the youthclub is quite helpfull, and I have a coupel of twins in my team 2. It is slightly more "overseeable" if you pardon my Dunglish.

I guess, I have to use this tool too, after I met the creators last week...

What I heard about, seems like it's pretty accurate. A reason more to mainly focus on PM (and of course passing if he is indeed technical)

almost useless update this week...

Vernon Schmidt is probably weak at Playmaking at this moment in his development.

I don't think we can teach Floyd Chamberlain that much more overall in the Youth Academy, boss.

I don't think the youth team is the right place for Neville Isaac any more. At least when it comes to Playmaking, he's simply unable to improve any more.

As we also train Passing I studied Vernon Schmidt during the game. I think he can become wretched at that before leaving the academy.

I have some extra information for you regarding Nicholas Rider. He can reach wretched at Keeper.

Although I guess I know now that Schmidt will not get much out of passing training and I shouldn't use Rider as my Keeper :P

Weak might mean, that he is actually close to inad...
But at least, it is possible (even with some weeks of different training) to get this Vernon Schmidt to solid playmaking before he is 17 yo.

According to H-YC - he can be trained fully to solid in PM during his time with the YC if I keep training PM..

4 ⇒ 7: ≈ 20 Matches (Senior Season 47/4, Age 16.031)

I think I am going to sell a couple of the players I originally bought. One of my guys is at ex/ex form/stamina and he actually popped wing even though he plays IM. I bought him for 15K and now his transfer compare is around 100K :P

I do not have a really meaningful match til the second to the last week of the season so I will just bank some cash for now and play these bots for a while...
