OPD and I started a monarch game on a small map. He's the Chinese and I'm the Egyptians.

I built about 6 cities and then I found it the right time to use my war chariots. So I declared war to the Vikings and at turn 68 I took:

I razed another Viking city and got all their techs from them for peace.

I razed two cities and now it's time to get something for the efforts. Cathy gives me Yakutsk and Map Making

OPD captured Moscow! Next target may be Japan, to my north. And of course the Vikings again.

I changed my thoughts. I declare war on OPD! He will get Chinese riders soon, so I have to act quickly! I abandon a city near his borders. It's corrupt and will surely fall otherwise.

I razed two other cities and lost as much war chariots as OPD lost swords and spears. War chariots are cheap and fast. Our empires are far apart and I can reach him twice as fast as he can reach me

OPD and I agree upon a Non agression pact until Bach is built.

He won't use chinese riders against me until Cavalry. That actually means that he won't be able to fast units during the middle ages against me. While I still may use the Knight... hmmm...

On top of that I will get Chivalry from him. He needs that tech badly for his UU. It's a dead-end tech and it allows me to fully focus on researching the lower end of the tech tree.

EDIT: I may very well decide not to take advantage of the no-rider situation. I think that my next attack will be with cavalry.

What a strange deal...

You can attck him with knights while he cant use his knights in defense.
