I played 4-4 away against the relegated team from div4. In itself a reasonable performance, but I was shocked by my poor midfield ratings. Time to buy some players. Suggestions are welcome. I play 3-5-2 with two offensive wingers. Options are to play 4-4-2 with OCD (I have 1 OCD, would need to buy another). This seems appealing, since my defense ratings aren't up to par either. I could buy trainees for the wings with high PM. The other option is to keep it oldschool 3-5-2, but then I'd get stuck with really high wages.

I advise you to buy Per Jansson

He'll be for sale after this weeks cup match. He has supernatural PM and passable passing.

If you like to have high midfield ratings, then I'd say you have to stick to 3 inner-PM's, combined with a WTM and maybe an OCD. Two of your PM's are out of shape. This partly explains the misery. Besides that I think they're a bit weak for V.

I tried 3-4-3 and 4-4-2 for a brief period, but midfield turned out to be too weak.

My IM's are ET, titanic and supernatural. Especially the last one is getting pathetic, although supernatural is not really what I want I guess. I'll get a 30+ titanic to replace him. And a PM with quick plus passable wing as trainee for WTM, that should do the trick.

Well that sucks. Through to the third round obviously, but my best midfielder got injured. Crap.

Won 2-6 away PICing. No injuries. So, perfect match for me...

Next week won't be too hard, especially as on Saturday I'll face a bot.

Too bad Shabba.
I had no injury for once. 0-3 with a PiC, only one yellow card. Next week should be as easy as this week.

Well, I was looking for another IM (or two) anyway, so I'd just have to step up the pace on that. Not easy to find a suitable player (and win the bid). I did pick up a new wing trainee (injured for 1 week, so very cheap) with brilliant PM and a technical forward with some PM plus a lot of passing. Maybe I should've figured this out a week earlier, then I'd have two more points by now.

I noticed exactly the same last few weeks. I bought a couple of players for prices I didn't expect to pay. But was forced to, because I needed them. And there were so few alternatives to choose from.

I am currently selling a 31 year old mythical. I expect to sell him (minimum bid is 1.999.999 Euros), even though I got him for just slightly over a million 7 weeks ago (which then means: his wage in the meantime has been paid by selling) But I might wait with a replacement for another half a season (or buy some 35 year old...)
