No, but wait untill my porn resources mod sees the light. Imagine a hard-on peeping put of the FOW when there's a cow ....

Lets update this thread since the game is moving slowly but surely.

I put turn 41 in the mail 5 mins ago, the end of my GA

The humans meet
In the year 2710BC I meet ERIKK. We're about tech par I'm 1 tech ahead (mysticism)

The turns between the last post and this one have seen some wars. I've taken on the french, raised a city and got some workers for peace. A few turns later the vikings founded an undefended city which I took because it was founded to close to my territory. Didnt gey anything good for peace because the Vikings owned nothing except for cities they wouldnt hand over. When archers aproached to close I had to make peace.

Made a tech deal (turn 38) where I got the wheel and Iron working. Got IW for alphabet and some gold (70 iirc) traded it around and ended up with The wheel and 90 gold back, leaving a 20 gold profit. At this point Erik didnt have the wheel nor IW so I'm 3 techs away from him. Now he has IW, but not the wheel. I'm 20 turns or so away from poly.

Looking at the map, I'm not sure what to do, I cant produce settlers very fast so maybe it's a better option to produce a sizeable army quickly and take out the Iroquois and the french. After my next settler (due in 2 turns) I'll make up my mind.

I think Erik has 3 cities too but founded his 3rd one before me. This is a guess based on score and f8. He still has a GA to get ( I assume) Priority is discovering his whereabouts so I can make a better judgement of the world situation.

When I have some spare time I might even develop one! Wonder if it will be allowed for GOTM even when I keep my graphs underneath the FOG.....

And an update again.

When I met Erik I was 1 tech ahead, and I was able to extend that advantage by trading the wheel and iron working with the ai. But Erik quickly he managed to get tech par and even gain writing on me. . My guess is he got writing before the AI. I got writing for the wheel and/or IW iirc and decided to get an embassy with Erik. That way I would at least know his whereabouts.

Now what I expected. just two warriors and building a settler. No city improvements....His settler is gonna finish one turn before his city will hit 3, wasting a production turn. He mined his cow.
Border show he expanded to the south. DOnt have a minimap picture from this turn, but it turns out he isnt that far away, sending JW's and harass his settler to be seems an option.....

I discover Korea a bit south of Carthage. I decide to build an embassy in Seoul and see how the Koreans are doing.

Nothing special, no iron and horses but they can be beneath the fow.

I really dont understand why I'm 1st in so many areas. Only explanation seems all the workers I got. Traded writing for one with Joan in my last turn. I'm going for fast improving First priority will be revealing Erik's entire empire, I wanna know what he's up to because, I cant explain why his capital is so undeveloped while his score is still behind. Was he building settlers he should have overtaken me long ago. It almost seems like he had a little war with one of his neighbours. Must be koreans or egyptians then since the rest is to far away. I still dont know where Cleopatra is so that's 2nd priority. Maybe that will shed some light on Erik's early years.

Game pace is a little better now, I plan to free up some time during the evenings so we can play a bit more.

Turn 51 Developments

Erik thought it necessary to make a post in the open thread regarding my slave workers and inviting me over to take on his mercs with my JW's. I doubt he would have done that had he knew my first JW was only 2 squares away I ended my turn next to his worker and made a nice screenie to scare him a bit.

8.88*KB

Of course I'm not going to war with just one JW but I'd like to do some scouting of ERIKK's empire. I have alrady cast a glance at his capital, mr. JW spots Leptis Magna:

66.79*KB

Size 2, regular num. merc. for defence. Would that mean he has no barracks in Leptis Magna either?? Maybe I'll investigate LM in a few turns. More interesting are the borders I can see now, I highlighted them and they indicate a 3rd city can only be SW of Carthage and if there's a 4th one it should be that way too.

I wondered for while why he hadn't build num mercs in Carthage and thought he might refrain from building them before he'd become a monarchy/republic to avoid having a useless GA (Like I had). He has built one in LM so this reasoning turns out to be faulty. Did give me an idea however: I can sacrifice a JW on his Merc and trigger his GA in despotism That way we'll both have had a useless GA....
Probably he didnt build them because they're expensive.

Slave Workers
ERIKK has checked the f3 screen, seen I have 6 slave workers and now suspects 'Killer tactics'. While his suspicion is entirely correct I've discovered something I didnt knew before. The f3 screen show only captured workers (just like the caption says). The ones you buy aren't shown here (I got 8 instead of 6). Of course this sounds logical, but I had never noticed it.

This also means you can deduct some info about wars form this screen before embassies. You dont know if it's a current war but you do know there's a reasonable chance there was a war between the 2 civs. Only exception being a worker that your opponent captured in a previous war against another civ which you capture from him.

Expect more updates daily!

Umm, shouldn't you attack Leptis Magna?

A loss would trigger his GA, a win could see you destroy the city!

Either way, I can't see why you wouldn't attack him...

I wanna see the surrounding lands first. That Merc wont run away (and if it does, my JW runs faster!) Also I'm very interested in the defense of Carthage, If that's still just 1 warrior, I might just take my chances there... I'd love to have another cow city, especially a former capital
