Default Winger Training

So I was thinking of switching to winger training, Currently I have been training PM for the better part of my hattrick career but I think it's time for a change with the value of PM's increasingly decreasing.

Would someone mind explaining the basics of winger training to me/direct me to some articles which might be informative? As I think i'm pretty secure in my league now I've begun a process of overhauling my team and getting rid of a number of players I don't need/getting old

There's one thing important about wingers: they need to be quick. Whatever attributes they have, if they are quick you can sell them with a lot of profit. Otherwise PM is nice, but it's mainly about wing (obviously). What you could do is buy two 20 y.o. PM with passable wing for your first team, so you have a good midfield next season. By the end of the season these guys could've popped (almost) twice, so you have a decent wing attack as well. For your second team, just go with the youngest you can find. PM isn't important here. Wing neither, even if you can get them at passable wing you can still make a profit. How? Sell them before they're 18.

With the new updates is it worth keeping the majority of my PM trainees then and simply transferring them to the wing? (selling those wingers I had also been training as PM's)

I'll keep the first 3 for my midfield anyway as my first 3 IM's. Then i assume i need 4 wing trainees? or are there more training spots I am not aware of? The only issue with them 6 is that none of them have 'quick'.

A specialty is worth a lot more in wingers. Heading is OK, iirc there's some special event with that as well. Quick is not really a must, but if you buy new trainees I would definately pick up only quick guys.

Actually there are two different kinds of winger training: one that also trains wingbacks and one that also trains forwards. The first one has 4 training spots, the second one 5. Obviously the first one is faster. WB get 50% of the training, I don't know about the forwards. I think nobody does. So you could pick up some defenders (without quick!) as well. Or forwards, whatever tickles your fancy.

It was an option with the old system while with the new system, it all depends on the league. I wish everyone would have your attitude. But if you face divine players in the league, it makes life complicated.
