If you want to see the relationship between the number of supporters and the number of sold seats, play a little with an arenasizer. 27000 is even a bit on the low side for 1100 supporters. I've got 1100 and have just expanded to 33000 (which is optimal for 1200 supporters).
How many people show up also depends on the weather and on the mood of the supporters. I remember that I had either pouring rain or annoyed supporters in all my home matches in the first half of the previous season. That led to some serious financial problems...

Many thanks for that Shabby...

Will use the extra money from that Full Arena to expand that little bit more.

£128,000 pounds for a full Stadium and 30,000 plus from my ecstatic Sponsors

There was a discussion about that on the Romanian conferences. It seems that the number of supporters is indirectly influenced by the division you're in. For Netherlands last division (IX) the top teams have 540 supporters while in England's last division (VI) the top teams have over 1700 supporters. The increase from a week to the other depends on the result last week, how happy your supporters are, what is your current number of supporters but also what division are you playing in.
Oh, and I have 1492 fans.

Ordered another 8500 seats. Will be ready for my next home match.

Have heard people say that price of expanding the Arena is going up so now is as good a time as any...

I have around 630 or 650 supporters and apparently stadium expansion is long overdue but I'm making good cash now (about + 30K/week on average without selling anyone) and don't want to go into debt to get the expansion. If cashflow continues, I'll have enough money to upgrade the arena close to the end of the season.

I've got over 1400 supporters and a 45,000 stadium which I'm getting close to selling out. Looks like I'll need to upgrade it before the increased expansion costs come in. When are they being introduced Meli?

From season 25 (which starts late January 2005), the costs for expanding your arena will be doubled compared to today. In the season after that, it will increase even more. The reason for this change is that these prices have fallen behind while all other costs have gone up since season 1 when these prices were set.
