That was a national friendly, or? International ones bring you more attendance.

As for the CDZ cup, well indeed 106 people attending is a very small crowd, but as said, you'll soon find out friendly income is just pennies compared to other income.

Playing abroad v.s. the older teams is probably more profitable investment than something that costs you money. My guess would be that overall you won't loose any money over it. I understand that 6000 euro is a lot of money for a XI division team, but don't worry too much.
Besides, nothing beats cup glory.

At the moment I am already loosing 5.000 on average. But a victory today could change things again. That could be but I will probably finish last, but than again someone must be the last one. So now I will stop nagging like a baby and just PLAY!

Ok, time's up and registration is CLOSED.
This edition's CDZ Cup sees the following teams participate: 1. Meli's Manglers (Melifluous) 2. Wartham United (Dell19) 3. FC De Snaken (Kemal) 4. Shabba FC (Shabbaman) 5. Chemists (akots) 6. Chimica Târnaveni (Yndy) 7. Black Marlins (Thrawn) 8. Grasshoppers Elm (socralynnek) 9. Grünclub (grs) 10. FC Isak (meanisak) 11. Acorazado Fuerte (Schip) 12. PP SV (ProPain) 13. Crvena Zvezda Strijp (Stephko) 14. SwingStars (Swingue) 15. Disciples of Kipper (Donald Kipper) 16. Dom Ducks (Plux) 17. Mistfit's_Marauders (Mistfit) 18. FC Suca (ciuly) 19. Yorkie_Geezers (iggy_geezer) 20. de burchtheren (arne1) 21. Aristocats (Kingreno) So, 21 teams which need to play 9 matches, 6 league and 3 KO stages. In short, we will need to overcome the 3 groups of 7 problem it seems. Unfortunately, since it is against the concept of everyone having a friendly to play in the cup at all times, I'm not sure how we will avoid the fact that with at least one team will be without opposition each round. And what is even worse,'I'm at a loss how to solve the puzzle that is the KO stages with one team not having a match, since our final ranking is based on those KO stages. Of course we could do an either 3 team or 5 team poule system for, for instance, the bottom 3 or 5 teams out of the group stages, but then we need to solve the fact that the KO stages is only 3 rounds long, a bad number for groups of 3 or 5 teams. Since I'd like the draw to take place before the end of this week, any input or ideas on this matter that could lead to a workable solution would be greatly appreciated.
