Kemal vs ProPain - deity head to head *spoiler* - Page 2

Things are getting reeeaaallly messy. After I turned everyone on Kemal, he's turned everyone on me. The Koreans were no problem, but he got Hannibal to join it was a littlebit to much of a good thing. Made peace with Toku for all his remaining cities, I plan to backstab him when enough riders are present to take his capital. After taking some korean outposts and killing some troops Korea was very willing to make peace again and ally against the arabs again

I'm now fighting the Carthaginians and doing ok. Took 2 of their cities and finished some knights. Kinda fearingg more of em because deity ai's tend to build heaps of military units. Got 2 leaders made an army and rushed leo's. If I get another one (reasonable chance, lots of elite units) I'll use it Magelaens. Not that I need or want it, but Kemal is building it and I suspect it;s a prebuild so I'll deny it if I can.

Kemal moved to democracy and as far as I can judge it: he's experiencing no significant war weariness at all. After setting up all the AI against me I turned the Koreans back on him. This encouraged him to sew for a new peace treaty, so we decided on a 32 turn peace. My war went ok, I got 2 more leaders, made another army and rushed Magellaen's.

480AD- 550AD
Hannibal used his army in the usual silly way. He tried to throw all his knights at an undefended city just behind the front line cities. I must have picked off 20-25 knights with my riders and rider armies (I got 3). Only lost about 5 riders or so. Crazy enough it still says my army is average compared to Hannibals.

Japanese: got all japanese cities in a peace treaty, healed my troops next tohis capital. Declared war and captured his last city. Turned out he had a galley with a settler. Hunted that down so now Toku is gone.

Zulus: kemal is finishing the zulus. I'm supplying them horses, iron, and techs(gunpowder and the likes) but it's a lost war for Shaka. He'll be gone in 10 tuns max.

MOngols:donated my Japanese island cities to the puny mongols.

Koreans:really pissed with me for breaking the alliance against the arabs after only a few turns

Carthage: Made peace with Hannibal in 530AD. I got Kagoshima in the deal. Bought chemsitry from him for 90gpt. Plan to heal up, reinforce and whipe him out.

I know, but I build my Fp and Palace close to each other so it will be corrupt land unless i get another leader so i can move my palace

I think I can get domination by getting my continent, the korean island and an island i discovered a small tip of just north of my continent. So building riders and teching to military tradition now. I have Leo's and cash so I can mass upgrade to cav. Kinda hoping that does the trick. Having 50+ riders but still average compared to hannibal...

well 750 AD now, 5 turns from military tradition. Got 65 riders to upgrade IIRC. Things been rather boring last 10 turns. Waiting for cash, riders and mil. trad. Kemal entered the industrial age together with Hannibal. Of course he gifted techs to the koreans for their bonus tech, so he catapulted them into the industrial age too. GRR. Mongols declared war on me (Big laugh!!!) and sneak attacked an undefended toen. Took 4 out 5 mongol cities in 5 turns. Would have gone quicker if they they had been all on the mainland. Kinda in doubt if I'll take Korea b4 the cartaginians. They have 2 lux which I can deprive Kemal of when I take Korea.

Depriving Kemal of his lux didn't matter that much any more. 2 turns later our peace treaty ended and he landed a SOD and a miniSOD. Both with inf. All my cav who would have had a hard time any way against his cavs were in Korea or on the carthaginian border.....

So I gave up and suffered a humiliating defeat
