Mayan crowds in Copan and 3 other cites are cheering as they welcome the Russian liberators bringing them out of anarchy into True Democracy. Mayan girls express their love for the Great and Glorious Russian Leader. Oh what a night.
The Prawda censoring staff missed to properly clean up the pic!

There's a mutant sitting in the first row. He was probably clearing up fall-out with his naked hand!

edit: on second thought, maybe Mayan girls turned away to the Russian leader, so his hand muscles just improved...

Turn 20 dispatched to Chichen Itza. Having hard time to find it on the map though. Actually, this turn something weird happened and war weariness really struck. It is about 45%. Well, they apparently understood that War Is Not a Fun. If it continues to go up like it does, we go back to Monarchy, I guess.

Some recommended reading about WW:

and the related threads of course. I guess Shabba just went to Democracy level 3.

Turn 21 sailed to a new Mayan capital. How is it there?

Marshall Георгий Константинович Жуков:

reports from the battlefield that the Mayan despote has tried a Russian tactic: scorched earth. The pathetic Mayan government has razed 3 of its cities and killed all their citizens on the move.

The Mayan government, now guilty of genocide, think they are safe on a remote island but those arrogant pigs underestimated the courage of Russian Spetznatz. After a fierce battle they report from the former Maya center of terror:

That was 14 turns of intense gameplay (Maya was attacked in turn 8 and we are playing turn 22 now). Shabba recovered as good as he could from the "optimistic" plans of his predeccesor imo but couldn't stop the leaks. Kuddo's to Shabba!
