ERIKK, I am not complaining

Anyway, in turn 129 I managed to get and be a republic while OPD had it already. He's a republic while being a non-religious civ. Still I was able to sell it for 800 gold in totaal to the two remaining AI.

. OPD was unpleasantly surprised by my speed of getting it.

I should have continued my war vs OPD. He is leading in all important demographics and still has to get a GA

I underestimated him, he a fine player.

That peace deal always looked weird to me but hey...
Wouldn't the way forward be to beeline to Cavs and attack him ?

My plan now is to provoke Japan to re-declare war. I already built up quite a military, so Japan should be an easy target, despite their Samurai and Golden Age.

Turn 172:

OPD started a war vs America and already captured two cities. I guess that I will grab Japanese land and that we will be alone on the planet at turn 200. He must have triggered his GA: he is leading in the demographics again.

OPD managed to conquer America very quickly indeed

I feel forced to conquer Japan now. Meanwhile I have to watch for OPD. So my troops are situated on both borders, making conquering Japan more difficult. OPD might be building Bach already. I'm researching Military Tradition at the moment. OPD is not behind in tech.

That means that he never had to use the Riders against me. Our odd peace deal is turning favourable for OPD more and more

. He will use cavalry instead! OPD is still in a Golden Age. That's the reason why he is outproducing me.
