I sincerely hope so, I mean that such later stage wars can be avoided after all. Otherwise, it will be very miserable situation which none of us might like.

It's ironic that my so-loved no-DM deal with IanDC makes that an invasion on either side is virtually impossible now. But that also makes it clear how fundamentally different the game becomes when DMs are allowed and used to its fullest potential. The options are just too much and a fortunate sequence of logins can makes the difference between losing your Stack of Doom and destroying the other's SoD.
