This turn I killed a Zero at Kwajalein, and sunk I-21 near honolulu for no losses. Manila was reinforced, again. Gotta love that. You should start running out of Marines pretty quick.

Yes, the battle of Manilla is a hard one. I've lost some good units this turn (2 elites), but, well, it spices up the things ...

You didn't even let my draftees get into the fight. I would hate to make the citizens of Manilla resent the draft and then not need it. I will let them grow up elsewhere instead though. I like the plane losses at Manila. I count at least 5 of yours that have been lost.

The Commonwealth is pleased to report a successful counterattack near Kumming. A Jap paratroop was spotted at the airfield, preparing for another treacherous mission. After artillery was called in, a brave ANZAC Infantry went through the mountain pass and finished him off, taking light injuries.
RAF Bomber Command also reported severly damaging a Destroyer off the coast of Manila, and a Cruiser south of Truk. All aircraft returned to base. |

China continued the defense by bombarding the elite infantry and tank north of Hankow to 2 health each. A paratrooper south of Chunking was injured and then defeated by a veteran guerrilla whilst a road was cut near foochow.

The Dutch wish to announce that they are getting ready for the reconquest of their homeland. The trek will be a long one (and estimated 17,000 mile journey) after which they will have to face the combined armies of the Third Reich and the evil Italians.

Holy Marines there Batman. I sunk a DD near honolulu and damaged another one, but lost a DD of my own. Oh Well. I have some scientists working on a top secret project in Reno. We call it operation Whoops. The days of large stacks are for you soon to be over.

This is off topic, but Justus II, are you the same guy who solved the barbarian problem?

I've actually been interested in testing the changed AIPatrol setting in a PBEM, as I *think* that only the setting of the last human player will affect the Barbarians, but obviously it's irrelevant in a PBEM like this with no barbs. |
