Turn 114: I've attacked the Romans, taking Veii without casualties. I had waited until it increased to size 2. I'll take Rome the next turn.

Turn 122: I've got the romans down to 4 cities, one of them on an island unfortunately. Because of their small cities and non-existent culture I could only capture 3 of their cities. So the question now is what I should do with their land: ignore it, or fill it with cities. I guess I could build cities in the desert (being agriculutral and all), but what about the polar region?
I'm also a bit at a loss on what I should do further. I could go and kill the sumerians, but since they got mostly desert that's a bit of a waste. I guess my territory is large enough for a decent empire, but I really don't know how I could win then.

Turn 130: The romans have only 1 polar city left, which I'll probably capture next turn. The losses so far are about 5 gallic swordsmen. I've spotted their overseas colony, and apparently they've hooked up iron. If that island is big, that could be a problem.
I'm also thinking about whether or not I should change to republic. Matrix hasn't revolted yet, and I'm in the middle of a campaign. Another matter: I still haven't contacted the last civ. My scouting galley (which luckily survived an encounter with a barbarian galley previous turn) might be close to them though.

Can you post a minimap ???
I'd like to see where you are located, compared to Matrix. Have you got any idea where he is ?

I'll do that somewhere in the near future. But fyi, he's located on the other side of the map. I'm not expecting an invasion anytime soon (and I have no idea how to invade his empire as well, unfortunately).

Turn 132: minimap.
Babylon is the single purple city. I've yet to meet the dutch. My scouting galley is in incan territory, somewhere in the northeast. To be more precise, there where the pink ends and the black fog of war starts.

I'm not so sure. I'd like to see more of his position. I've still room to expand, but the lands are pretty crappy (tundra mainly, and desert, but the latter isn't that bad since I'm agricultural). I'll build some more workers to irrigate the desert, and fill them with cities.
First thing is the switch to republic, once the romans are done (if they haven't settled more than one city that means pretty soon), and then to catch up in tech research. I'm praying that I can snatch at least a decent wonder, I've got a prebuild ready. When I get knights, I think I'll wipe out either the incans (next to matrix, a good foothold) or the sumerians (although a good neighbour might be a good ally somewhere in the future). No clue how to strike matrix from here
