Am I the only one who seems to be unable to attack with the KOC utility? Each time I make an attack run the server seems to be down. Hardly stimulating.

thats a KoC server problem, I suspect you will find the same thing happens whether you are using KoCUtility or just a web-browser. (there is a thread or two regarding this issue in the official KoC forum)

Correct, I have it with firefox as well. It's worse with the utility though.

Yeah that may be the case - in theory the utility should be exactly the same as it would be with IE (each browser window in the app is a seperate instance of IE) but I generally find firefox slightly faster than IE so that maybe the difference.

There isn't anything I can do that will change this (without writing my own browser shell - not gonna happen), if mozilla ever release the firefox shell as a public dll then I could use that but the real solution is for the KoC admins to improve their server capability etc.

Thanks, I wondered if it was my brain screwing up. BTW, the utility copes very badly with DNS errors when hunting. I mean, if the "battlefield" screen fails, it's hardly able to resume hunting. You can solve this by simply restarting, but then your list is gone as well obviously. Perhaps the list could be autosaved?

But it's really annoying. There's little point in being orc if you can't attack. There's little use in attacking anyway, since I can't even get my recruits trained (and TFF down).

ah yeah, good idea

here's another 'hotfix' - just replace KoCUtility.exe with the new one. I do have a full install version but I am running out of webspace to host the setup files... if only there was a way I could upload a file over 200k to CDZ [pray]

Thanks for updating the weapons doc, but can you also update the siege technology list? My Sappers are not in there
