I thought Koeman himself didn't want to get ardent with the chairman.

True, but considering the "backstab-quality" comments directed at him personally that he got from the chairman in the previous week, I can hardly blame him for that...

Apparently the "Don Leo shock-effect" didn't work...
Can't say that I am too surprised by that...

Not good for Feyenoord but as you say it was what many expected. I sincerely hope you manage to buy some quality players for next season, a club like Feyenoord cannot go without the UEFA cup for more then one season.

As for the pley-offs...can we stop that please KNVB??? The Arena and the Kuip were filled for 50%...

Unlikely. There is no money and I doubt any player they can sell will bring in serious money.

Agreed. De Kuip was actually only 45% full. About 22000 people... Sorry sight, IMHO....

Not really surprising. I never thought he'd be that dumb.

I heard rumours that his "personal problems" are alcoholrelated.

So who will dare to take the captains hat? van Hanegem?

I read that Feyenoord made those personal problems up, that he has football related problems with Feyenoord. Sounds plausible. However, he looks like he drinks too much.
Van Hanegem would be terrible, he's not the man that disciplines the team. The players are pretty mediocre, I see only one way out: iron discipline position game, automatisms that saves mediocre players and that could let the occasional star shine. Adriaanse could've made that true.
