Im playing a team tonight for my cup game---Hands Wanderers (61039)

now i dont have too much of a chance, if any so should i just PiC so i dont lose too much confidence within the team or what should i do?

From what I understand... always PIC games that you know you are going to win OR lose. that is unless it's vital that you win it (ig.... end of the season where you need a win so that you can promote or not get relegated)

I think that a cup match that is doubtful (especially a 2nd rounder) is good to PIC but I'll default to the other more experienced players.

Piccing does not influence your confidence. it decreases your midfiled rating and increases your TS (teamspirit). High teamspirit increases your midfield. By piccing you move "quality" to the next match.
Confidnece ins influenced by winning or loosing and psychologists.

I PIC'ed my first league match (I checked again just in case I screwed something up). And my team spirit is still calm. I thought that it was supposed to go up 1-2 levels.

Team Spirit: calm
Confidence: decent

Any ideas as to what I did wrong. The next daily update has even taken place. I haven't made any trades... nothing. Just got 18 new supporters. Help!@!

Default TS is composed. PiCing causes an increase of 33% in TS, and composed has a numeric value of 4. So, you should have seen it go to content, which has a numeric value of 6, and then after the update on Sunday night/Monday morning, it dropped to a high sublevel of calm. Since, it has dropped even further, but remains calm, as it naturally works it way back towards composed. The benefit of a high leadership coach is that the drop is resisted more strongly, whereas PiCing with poor leadership tends not to be able to get the TS above a high calm or low content.

ah... I forgot it dropped back. So I can expect a composed TS until I can afford another coach (2-3 seasons)

Well, if you mots it won't recover quickly. To be more exact, you probably won't even notice that it's recovering. BTW, it's reset at the start of the season anyway.
