I finally get another tech from TGL! It's invention. I have have palace as pre-build which gives me Leo in 7.

England has Education and Gunpowder over me. I wouldn't be surpired if I had to pay for Gunpowder. I'd expect CB to buy Education to deny me any other free techs.

Finally a new techs from TGL: Chivalry and Education. The TGL is obsolete, so now I have to buy my techs.

CB wasn't the one making the wonder obsolte: he still doesn't know both techs I got.

The last couple of turns weren't very inspiring. But at one point I decided to sail to the weakest civ of the planet, after buying Navigation form England for 70 gpt. The Egyptians had only two spears and a warrior in their capital, so I declared war and attacked a turn later:

I got a colloseum instead of Bachs that time! But you got a riot if I understand it right?
So what happened? In the interturn England ended that lux deal and the city was not controlled
by the governour? That would suck, nothing you can do about it in the interturn...

That is indeed what happened ERIKK. I never use governors, but I might be rethinking this whenever I get in this situation again. And I will check diplo even better to prevent these things from happening. Of course I know about the bug for a time now, but it just didn't occur to me that a deal may expire

But still, looking at the bright side: with a little luck I'll be researching steam power before the AI, netting me a lot of cash and a shot at TeO.
