You can play any time but you need to move before CH so he doesnt catch teh galley you are retreating back towards my cities from up the coast to the north. So play close to the start of the turn.
HE could have built a settler, he chopped at least one forest so if he had it "pre built" or used the whip he coudl have. HOWEVER...last time i look at the screen he only had a capital. |

I'm pretty sure a road in netural terrain works like one within your borders. Try moving the blockading galley a couple tiles north and see if that covers it.

I got a bad feeling about sonnys odds versus my city. Anyone want to take a look and give me some odds on survival if he moves everything to attack. THE RNG has been bad to me earlier and thats why the situation is so bad.
I will need some units now that he has crossbows adn I am in deep shit if he moves his chariots to go after my newest city |

I still have no idea why you brough everything back, keeping the units outside his city forced him to keep his there.
Now the tables are exactly opposite. Secondly how would he have any idea where that second city is? you can chop out an elephant/possibly whip the last few hammers in 3 turns. He'd be stupid to try attacking before bombarding as his units would just get cut to shreds.

I brought it back because he had 2 crossbows, 2 chariots and a cat versus my 2 cats and a spear. he wins that every day. in addition you guys gave me 2 settlers that needed protection. 2 archers would have been a world of difference so now i have a settler thats cant go any wheres but sit and wait for a protector.

You were on a forested/ could have been on a forested hill. That wins every day, your cat was 7.5 at least against his xbows whilst your spear was 10 vs his chariots.
