Well, we should have more settlers for denial purposes. It might not be good to have limited space between cities, but denying the AI to have new cities is worth a lot as well. We can always disband cities we think are terribly placed. That way we can grow and grow while the AI civs all get smaller and smaller.

I will go to my last IT any minute now. Anar, you can take it from there.
I thought it useless to build a city on that S tip so the settler is moving to Delft now. The pic was taken before readjusting to starvation. And yes, we might only want to risk another attack if it is very secure.

First turn report!
500AD: Sell PP to India for 16gpt and 10 gold. Buy Mil Trad (and 4 gold) from Portugal for 80gpt. Turn lux down from 40% to 30%, with no mm'ing needed. This is worth 80gpt. It appears that we haven't been stripping worker off size 12 cities with a food surplus. We are also irrigating grass tiles on size 12 cities with a high food surplus. This is all small stuff, but it soon adds up! Oh, I also found a city building Cav with no barracks... Since Zohak isn't coastal (1 tile away ) there is no question we will abandon it at some point. Because of this I sell the Courthouse, and I change the build from Temple to settler. Next turn when it is safe I will sell the Market too. BTW - Eindhoven is very badly placed! It has no land tiles that are not under another cities 21. I would suggest abandoning this when we expand more to the west. Of course for all cities we abandon we should have a settler in place where we want a city so we can abandon-found in the same turn. I change some Temple builds to Libraries. Since happiness isn't so urgent in these cities I decide to pay the extra 20 shields and get some extra science. I get about 110 gold from Portugal at 18 gold per 1 gpt. I also sold very old techs to backwards civs for almost no money. 25 Knights get upgraded, the rest will follow next turn. We need to research Astronomy now, but 3 AI's have it and I want to buy it rather than research it directly. The Iro's are the only civ with Astronomy who lack Mil Trad, and they're not gonna get that from us yet!

Eindhoven is, but it gives all our (soon to be) western cities higher rank and has very little producion or expansion.

Should we make a dot map of a future empire? Than we can discuss and decide what has to go
