What's wrong with people organising concerts during the WC?
I think The Golden Earring will play in The Hague a week earlier.

Otherwise a brilliant plan, Rik!

For the Bon Jovi concert the area labelled "speelweide" was the secluded area. The areas "vijver", Openlucht-theater" and the area between "speelweide" and "Bijen imker" were free to be in and several groups of people were sitting there drinking beer. In and Around the park there were places one can buy food, drinks, T-shirts, and possibilities to piss so if you get hungry: food is all around.

I have no reason to expect the setup of the Guns 'n Roses festival to be any different, so the plan will go on.
According to the Mojo website (http://www.mojo.nl/agenda/evenement.asp?pid=949) the concert starts at 4pm (16:00) and their are 3 bands playing first. I live about 1 to 2 kilometers from the park.

I enjoyed myself.
Slash was very missed, but in general the concert was good. Not of "early 1990's level" of course, but acceptable.
They seemed eager to play and that showed.
