ERIKK surrenders!

I have tried to take this one town for several turns.

The solution was so fucking easy! In one turn I demolished every single city of ERIKK's except this besieged city of Burdigala. Via the back door! I used my swarm of slave workers to railroad my way through France and Spain. Some cavs were ready. I child can do the laundry

Funny detail: I only came to think of this solution, because I feared ERIKK might do it to me...

It was a great game. Even if I would have lost it. It was simply fun from the start!

Thanks ERIKK

Better luck in revenge PBEM!

Yup we had peace negotiations in which I was stupid enough to rouse aspicion (sp?) about this
tactic. I planned it for several turns and was waiting for the Spanish to finish their rails.
Thats why I did not wanted to sign peace and made Stapel think about what the hell I was
planning. He figured it out and used it... I almost won as Stapel also left his borders empty.

30 turns ago I thought the game was lost but with Stapel stuffing all his units in his beach
head and attack my wave after wave I saw my chances rising and rising. I just needed a bit more
time for the Spanish to finish their goddamn rails...

This game had the most fighting in all my PBEMs. I think Stapel mass attacked my city 13 times
in 20 turns. I attacked his towns 3 times. (1 early in the game and two raids in the mid game).

In the seige of my town in the end game near the beach head we lost 7 to 13 units per turn, with
Stapel attacking with 30 to 40 cavs per turn. Fortunally I rushed enough rifles each turn to compesate the losses...

It was most definately the most fun PBEM I had with all the fighting against the human. Stapel
had the advantage of being Industrious and starting in a desert environment (both of us). I had
a difficult early game/expanding but managed to catch up. But I was not able to take over a
second AI resulting in me being smaller and weaker than Stapel.

We agreed on a revenge game...

Thanks to you too Stapel!
