Most of the games involving England were the good ones. Very rarely have other games included such 'excitement'

The final has potential, hope its not a blow out. But your right too many one sided games and it wasn't just when the minor teams were involved

I'm hoping it's a draw because then apparently we get 'super over' or something along them lines. I've no idea what it is but it sounds exciting!

They do it in the IPL, basically an 6 ball over to make as many runs as possible but if you lose two wickets its finished

The Irish are apparently considering a legal challenge. Rightly so i believe, what's the point in having a world cup where no-one else has the opportunity to be involved in it?! equally mysterious why zimbabwe are allowed in ahead of Ireland when Ireland are above them in the rankings.

The ways of cricket are mysterious.
But aren't most international federations working in myserious ways? WC football to Qatar??? It's not like they have this big squad or long standing football history. And the temperature isn't really suitable as well. You'd almost think it;s a money issue

It's different though, every member of FIFA has the chance of playing in the World Cup.
Not every member of the ICC has the chance of playing in the cricket world cup.

The ICC proposes a WC for full members only. And every nation has the possibility to become a full member. And as long as the two youngest full members (Zimbabwe & Bangladesh) don't show they are up to it, we cannot demand the ICC to seriously consider the Irish becoming a full member. It's fair to say that the associate members don't really add much to the level of the tournament, despite Ireland's upset win over England. As pleasingly as Kevin O'Brien's innings was...., it was a once in a lifetime knock. A fluke so to say. But, more importantly, it doesn't harm the tournament if 2 or 4 associates compete. Both walk-overs and upsets can be fun to watch. And for international cricket to grow wider, it is important that associates compete full strength at the top level. The World Cup for B-teams won't feature Ten Doeschate (or Alex Kervezee), as they play for their Indian/English/Australian club teams. However, if the ICC decided to allow more associates at the WC T20, I can live with the ommision at the real deal!
