Next april, me and mrs Stapel will take 10 days to travel from Memphis tot Memphis, visiting (at least) New Orleans, Vicksburg and Little Rock. Not sure if squeezing in Texas is feasible though.

London around this time is not an option for me. Too busy with the holidays, familiy b'days, card playing night and he traditional old student-house diner. All of these have to be planned in december/january so the time frame doesn't fit me. Apart from that I doubt if anybody from CFC remembers me
A new CDZ meeting sounds great though. Providing it's february at the earliest Especially if we go abroad I need some 'plan ahead' time.

I did have a "You might be a redneck" moment a few months back. As my neighbor and I were outside shooting the shiite, we heard coyotes yapping about. So I went and grabbed my rifle, and he went and grabbed his light. As we were walking to the backside of the property I chimed in: "If you can hunt in your own back yard......you might be a redneck." Incidentally, my apologies for threadjacking. |

That doesn't sound so bad. My definition of redneck would be a lot less flattering. But then again, what do I know, I've only seen rednecks in the dukes of Hazzerd.

Mostly klaverjassen, sometimes kraken and poker as well. I've taken a noob course in bridge 20 years ago, nothing much left of that knowledge I'm afraid.

My classic image of a redneck is the one from James Bond. See this video and go to two minutes in advance. That's this guy (notice the last quote ).
