Seems like most candidates either don't like to become a mod or wouldn't be accepted to be mod by TF. Exception for col so far, since I don'T know how he feels about it. But I agree w/ shabba that a some what *expierenced* one is good choice.

It depends, of course. If they'd split the OT in politics and 'other', expect a buttload of spam in the 'other' section (more like our own OT...)
If things would cool off a bit, and with the help of some good moderators, the politics forum could be fun (like the history forum), but still, moderating is pretty time consuming. Meli wouldn't have time for it, he's supposed to change diapers

meli, I think you'd be a good choice (if you restrained yourself  ) but also think there's more chance of Bush unilaterally disbanding the US army, Blair declaring he's a socialist, and Hell freezing over - and all happening tomorrow.col would be a good choice, and has a fighting chance! |

Wow - first poll i've lead - apart from the asshole of the year award.
I've PMed Lefty and indicated that I'd do the job if selected. He didnt reject it out of hand. At least then I could keep some unruly Europeans in order and get the respect I deserve. (Ah I do already, i see)
