Eh.

Although I want to say "too early to say yet" for my sake, I feel that I must lean towards "sorry, not this time either".

Got a hunch I have to allocate that money for marriage...

my place is too small as well (64square meters, including the storage room, excluding the winter garden )

hey beam, excellent idea and great offer! Count me in - and, possibly, Rita, too?
Of course Rita is very welcome! The center of gravity of course will from saturday noon 'til sometime sunday (this time I hope to be awake when everyboy leaves ), no prob for earlier arrival / later leave. Really enjoyed the Fridaynight dinner with Matrix, Smalltalk and Krys!

If we're coming to Breda for the next get-together, I don't mind sailing around Indonesia again. YUMMY. Anyway, do you think we could manage one weekend during winter in Breda (or somewhere else), and then another one in spring or summer ?

I think two get-togethers a year is nice. With more occations (LAN-parties excepted) there's the danger that people don't come, so that you don't see that many new faces.

I'm fine with a weekend in Breda in january and I also think a weekend in may (or so) in the neighbourhood of Fontainebleaujob will suit us all fine.

What place was it again, Krys?

@Heiner:
I, myself, would not take my GF to such an event. Though I feel pretty sure nobody would even think of her being in the way, such gatherings might very well have little to offer to her.

Mayeb (could mayeb be added to the list of 'jsut' and 'garee') this sounds totally ridiculous to many:
But I've been raised, the best way to stay in a good relationship, is to not force eachother into your hobbies .

I'd be happy to show the two of you around here in NL for a weekend!

that's what you get for leaving early last time, Bas! She, after all, met the crowd, liked them all, and she fully understands ym playing Civ etc.

But we WILL take you up on your offer!

While in the direction of that famous forest (from a Parisian's point of view), it's a bit further south down the A6 autoroute.

That is an interesting point of view, worth thinking about at least. Though I thought the main factor would have been to dread being the only female in a house filled up with males playing Civ and talking about... Civ. Yeah we can also chit-chat about this or that, but as KR and some others pointed out in Breda, we somehow regularly fall back on Civ. Which, one must concede, is rather geeky.
