Out of all people to be complaining about the rng! I'm surprised.
Personally I have found more good luck these days than bad. I seem to win more than I expect. I bring overwhelming force and then I lose enough that I could have brought just over 1 unit for their 1 unit. |

That's why I suck at war : I always think "Don't wanna bring overwhelming forces, because it would be unneeded to win if I'm lucky enough (waste of resources and time to produce them)". So I bring just enough forces, or launch my attacks too quickly, and then I sometimes find myself stucked in never-ending wars, actually LOSING resources and time. The bad RNG rolls are not the only reason for that, but actively add up to other stuff (like rather bad strategic decisions). What I personally need is to accept to build up my forces, more than needed, and not to feel frustrated while not launching my offense immediately. In fact I could say that the RNG is a crucial element to take into account in order to win a game, when both players are about the same strenght.
