I have my second city in place finally. With it i can see Russian border to my north so there is either a strip of land connecting us or a small channel.

I can also see there is a barb city nearby, where i'm planning my third city. My second city will have two deer and the copper in is cross which i guess isn't too bad considering the surroundings.

I've had a look at where mauer is and he isn't any better off than me. Finally i know akots is nearby as well since i am showing a trade route connection to him but i haven't met him yet.

A little bit of a surprise for me when i opened up the game a couple of turns ago to find russian borders next to mine north of my capital. Maybe he was hoping to get the marble, but i'm not really sure. Even if my borders hadn't expanded the marble doesn't seem worth a city given the rest of the terrain. Not that i'm in any rush to take it off Bodean, he has copper connected, i don't yet.

Besides my main concern for the moment is that barb city. It standing in the way of my third city being put down which would give me iron and corn and some semi decent land.

The demographics are not too bad. Still doing well in the GNP. Resonable numbers overall.

The plan for now is to get rid of the barbs and get my third city, then scope out Bodean and grahamiam to see who would be the better target for my expansion. Hopefully one of them will be possible to beat.

Things continue to move along. I will have alphabet soon so i'll be able to see who has what techs. Sklizavo will have its borders expand next turn so the workers are in place to get the copper hooked up asap.

The current tech plan. Most of the wonders are already built so i'm sticking to this section of the tree for now. Metal casting and feudlism will probably be next in line

The known world.

While Ian and barbu seem to be leading the way i'm still in a good position in this corner of the world. If i can be ahead enough in techs to be a generation ahead in units then i wont need to worry about the lack of production.

So much for my get rid of the barbs, set up a third city then have a look at who i might be able to attack plan.

I do wonder why i bother making plans sometimes

Anyway i'll be jumping onto a war footing and rushing some units over the next few turn, also i'm hitting up mauer for some horses. I'm giving him furs on credit at the moment so its time to call in that bill

Edit- the copper will be hooked up next turn so both those warriors will be upgraded

To say i'm alittle confused is an under statement. Bodean puts his stack on my border then does nothing, just sits there. I guessing he wasn't look to surprise me. I did begin to wonder if it was a defensive placement but it doesn't make sense to be so provocative.

Well if he isn't planning on attacking me, then i will make the move. Mauer gave me the horses so i'm building some chariots. I rushed the first one. I also rushed a second archer in Sklizavo just in case he tries a landing there. So if he doesn't move in the next few turns i will.

Anyway back to the game, its not a scary stack by any means, really surprise was the biggest thing going for it and he blew that.

Really Bodean's given his stack a bit of a hospital pass
