How is Octavarium? So far it seemed Dream Theater was getting better and better until Scenes From A Memory, where they reached the top; then it went downhill. IMO Train Of Thoughts (last album) is one of their worst albums (along with Peruvian Skies). @Meli: progressive metal is...complicated metal.  Dream Theater is very 'clean' metal, like Metallica, but then very complicated. And with actually a real singer.  Most people don't like it, because it...doesn't run properly. (Dutch: "loopt niet lekker")
